Hello! My name is Courtney Cox and I’m very excited to become part of the team at SpectrumCare, LLC. I’m originally from McDermott, OH and a graduate of Portsmouth West High School, Class of 2014. I continued my education at Ohio University receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders (2018), Minor in Communication Studies (2018), and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology (2020). I’ve completed my graduate level training in a variety of locations including Ohio University Therapy Associates, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, along with completing my clinical fellowship with Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Throughout my coursework and field studies, I have found a passion for preschool-school age speech and language development. I have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Epilepsy, Rhett’s Syndrome, Apraxia of Speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Pediatric Feeding Disorders and other speech and language delays and disorders.
I’m very excited to be moving back to Scioto County where I hope to bring more access to speech and language therapy services in our area. I will always strive to be updated on the most current evidence based practice so I can provide the best therapy possible for my clients.
